The Samsung X460 Is Here

Samsung has recently come out with the X460, a 14.1", 4.2lb notebook that is thin and extremely portable. It comes loaded with a 2.26GHz Inter Core 2 Duo P8400, 3GB RAM, a 320GB HDD, 256MB nVidia GeForce 9200M GPU, an LED backlit display at 1280x800, and of course a few USB ports (3), HDMI, a card reader, a fingerprint reader, and an integrated webcam. Apparently the boot time is remarkably fast and it's easy to upgrade, too. One of the "little things" (or maybe it's not so little) that we always notice in a laptop is the quality of the keyboard, and the X460 gets points for this as well. You may have noticed that the resolution isn't extremely high for a 14.1" and the GPU isn't exactly mindblowing at only 256MB. But you won't shed a tear over that stuff when we tell you the price of this extremely portable and decently powerful laptop is a mere $1700. Via laptopmag ´
